These works begin by dipping one edge of a small piece of kozo paper into watery ink, allowing the pigment to spread organically through the fibres, creating random stains. After repeating this process thousands of times, I arrange the inked paper onto large wood panels. Each small rectangular piece becomes a miniature seascape, and together they form vast, abstract landscapes.
